Launching Soon: Ford Figo Facelift on 15th March
The updated variant of Ford Figo will get minor cosmetic updates. It is now launching with completely revised interiors, new infotainment system and a new 1.2-litre petrol engine.
March 2019 is coming up with various new and updated launches in India. 15th March this year, Ford Figo will be the second product launch by the American automaker. The first variant was the recently launched facelift for its flagship SUV in India, the Endeavour. Soon Ford Figo facelift will be hitting the markets with some minor cosmetic updates on its exterior while there will always be a complete overhaul of its interior design layout. The list of features is all set to improve and there will soon be an introduction of a new 1.2-litre petrol variant.
All the changes coming in 2019 model of Ford Figo is going to come in sync with what people have already seen on the Ford Aspire facelift the past year. On the exterior front of this hatchback will have the revised bumpers, a new front grille, redesigned headlamps and a new set of alloy wheels. The rest of the design and specifications will remain the same as like before.
Well coming to interiors, the Hatchback will come with a slightly altered dashboard layout, particularly the area around the central console. ‘Ford is going to introduce an all-new touch screen infotainment system for the top-spec trims of the 2019 Figo’, sources said. This system is the SYNC3 unit similar to the Aspire facelift. This system is one of the best in the market and supports connectivity through Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
There were many rumours Figo launch has gone through. Going by that, we can say that this new trim is expected to be launched in a single white colour with contrasting black coloured alloy wheels, roof, and front grille and outside rear view mirrors.
At present, the Ford Figo has priced in-between the range of INR 5.59 lakh to INR 7.95 lakh. It is further expected by the automaker to reduce the prices slightly, as it did with the Aspire and Endeavour facelifts.
