Know What The India Bound Ford Endeavour Carries In Its Bag

U.S. carmaker Ford has officially revealed the details of the features that would be offered in the new Endeavour 2019, that is slated for launch in the Indian car market on February 22, 2019. According to the reports revealed by the carmaker, the Indian version of Endeavour will undergo subtle changes in the form of revamped grille, front and rear bumpers and also new 18-inch alloy wheels. The changes offered in the 2019 Ford Endeavour are similar to the changes introduced in its international version named as Everest.

Under the hood, it is reported to be offered with the existing 2.2 litre four-cylinder and 3.2 litre cylinder five-cylinder diesel engines. The transmission duties in the trim empowered with 2.2 litre would be performed by the manual gearbox, while the 3.2 trim would be offered with six-speed automatic transmission system as a standard feature. In its new avatar, the Ford Endeavour 2019 would be continued only in two trims namely Titanium and Titanium+. The base variant Trend is reported to be discontinued.

Moving inside the cabin, the changes that would be offered includes the dual tone black and beige interior replaces the existing brown and beige touch, followed by standard key-less entry, electronic boot opening, and puddle lamps. As far as the price of new Ford Endeavour is concerned, with discontinuation of base Trend variant, the price is believed to start from Rs. 30 lakh for the Titanium 2WD variant. After launch in the Indian car market, the new Ford Endeavour will go against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Isuzu MU-X.
