Jaguar XKR variants to launch soon
The most gaudy and sporty car Jaguar XKR-S; from the stable of British luxury autocar giant Jaguar is speculated to be available in Indian market chiefly in two variants which are a sedan and to accompany it is a convertible version, by this year.
As always media is keenly watching its launch and this supercar the new Jaguar XKR-S would house an enormous 5.0 L supercharged engine that would help generating a beastly power of 550 Bhp in addition to this a king size torque production of 502 lb- ft would also turn on the adrenalin rush.
At the current scenario Indian Customers are pleased with only a Coupe version. Auto experts suggest the upcoming variants of Jaguar XKR-S would be a lot similar in technical aspects, although the external appearance would be altered visible in form of door and top cover designing.
The upcoming convertible variants of this Jaguar XKR would be easy to design, as the basic body is of XKR is all of an aluminium make. Thus there are a less scope for visible changes and permissible upgrades.
As a matter of fact after the Indian car giant Tata Motors acquisition of Land Rover and Jaguar, which now are termed as its British subsidiaries these branded labels have charted huge profits in recent fiscal years after a miserable depriving period of loss in these British Subsidiaries.
Some of the popular hatchback models in the Indian auto market are Ford Figo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat and Volkswagen Polo. Apart from these popular models, cars going to hit the Indian roads this year are Toyota Etios Liva, Maruti Cervo and New Ford Fiesta.
