Indian Auto Expo: Details of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza revealed before its showcase
Scheduled for showcase during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2016, Vitara Brezza the compact SUV by leading car manufacturer MSIL has already succeeded in grabbing the attention of car enthusiasts in Indian car market. Recently the details of same were revealed by car maker detailing the features and specifications including the variants that would be offered in this vehicle. Developed strictly for Indian car market the compact SUV sports bunch of contemporary features making it different in its segment.
The compact SUV will be energized with 1.3 litre multijet diesel engine tuned to develop power of 89bhp and torque of 200Nm. The vehicle be sold directly through the existing dealers of MSIL across the country despite of Baleno and S-Cross which are being sold through Nexa showrooms. There will be overall six variants namely LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+.
The features that will be adorned in all these six variants can be summarised in tabular format as referred below:
LDi : Power steering, front power window, manual air conditioner, electronic adjustable ORVMs, audio system supporting connectivity with Bluetooth, power door lock, tilt steering wheel, driver side airbag, engine immobilizer, driver seat belt audio reminder and many more.
LDi (O) : Similar to as offered in LDi with additional features likes passenger side airbag, ABS with EBD and seat belt pretensioner and force limiter for added safety.
VDi: Additional features offered in this variant are rear power windows, keyless entry, security system, fabric lining on roof, gear shift indicator, front seat back pockets and hook on the back of driver seat, fabric on door trims, passenger vanity mirror headrests for rear seats and rear parking sensors. On the exteriors its receives full wheel covers, black colored roof rails, body colored door handles, electromagnetic tail gate and black coating for A, B and C pillars.
VDi (O): Apart from bunch of features offered in VDi, this variant is offered with extra features like optional passenger side airbag, ABS with EBD and seat belt pretensioner and force limiter for added safety.
ZDi: Regular features offered in this variant are standard with premium features such as Auto A.C, audio system with controls mounted on steering wheel, different lighting for speedometer, aluminum finishing on instrument panel, piano black finish on centre console, storage tray under passenger seat, driver seat height adjuster, sunglass holder, accessory socket and lamp in boot area, inside chrome handles, vanity mirror lamp, rear centre armrest with cup-holder, front map lamp, dual side parcel tray and premium fabric seats.
ZDi+: This top end variant is adorned with features like Dual Tone paint which makes it look real stunner. It also gets other premium features such as upper cooled glove-box, smartplay infotainment system with navigation system, additional tweeters, sliding front armrest with storage space, front seat belt height adjuster, power foldable ORVMs integrated with side indicators, cruise control, rear parking camera, push button start/stop and automatic wipers and headlights. All these features are not offered in other vehicles in same segment.
