Indian Auto Expo 2016: Major attractions at the stand of Tata Motors
The first day of Indian Auto Expo 2016 is witnessing showcase of some incredible initiatives by all major car makers. Till lunch the auto expo witnessed unveil of about 30 new gems from the bags of renowned car maker ready to exhibit their shine in coming months. The latest news is coming from stands of domestic car maker Tata Motors which has showcased its highly awaited vehicles today to rule the roads of Indian car market in future.
The major attractions of Tata’s pavilion was premium SUV Hexa which will be energized with 2.2 litre Varicor engine along with 19 inch alloy wheels offered for first time in any of the premium SUV’s in segment. The next to grab attention from Tata Motors was compact SUV Nexon developed on same platform as used in its upcoming hatchback Zica (proposed to come with changed name) will be offered in two variants comprising of 1.2 litre petrol turbo and 1.5 litre diesel engine options.
Moving ahead remaining two attractions from Tata Motors that is Zica hatchback (to offered with new name as an impact of Zica virus) and Kite 5 sedan are developed mainly on same platform and comprises of same 1.2 litre 3 cylinder Revotron and 1.05 litre Revotorq engine in petrol and diesel trims respectively. Both the engines in these cars will be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system along with option of AMT system in top end variant.
