Ford Fiesta boosted with EcoBoost engine launched in Malaysia
American car maker Ford has launched the Fiesta hatchback enriched with 1.5 litre EcoBoost engine in Malaysian car market. It is speculated that the company also offer the same vehicle in Indian car market where at present it is available in sedan avatar. The hatchback Fiesta is equipped with 998cc EcoBoost engine, with 3 cylinders generating the power of 125 PS and torque of 170 Nm. The engine is coated with dual clutch gearbox. Company has developed this engine at is manufacturing plant located at Craiova in Romania.
The Ford Fiesta hatchback has been offered with price tag of RM 93, 888 (Rs. 17, 29, 925 Lakh INR) which as compared to existing hatchbacks in Indian car market seems to be very expensive. It is believed that if company launches this hatchback in India it would be offered with price close to its sibling EcoSport.
The hatchback has been offered in three passionate colors including Arctic White, True Red and Black. It would be interested to know that Black color receives a special treatment which reflects its EcoBoost badge.
