Fiat Punto Evo launching on August 5, 2014
The refreshed and upgraded version of Fiat Punto from Italian car marker Fiat Motors is going to launch in Indian car market on August 5, 2014. The upcoming avatar of Punto has been named as Fiat Punto Evo and has undergone various remarkable cosmetic changes at both exterior and interior grounds. It is reported the deliveries of the new Punto Evo would take place with the launch of car. The hatchback has been witnessed undergoing test drives at several occasions.

It is speculated that company will continue the existing engine configurations in the upcoming version of Punto in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version would be enriched with two engine options of 1.2 litre petrol engine churning the power of 67 bhp while other one would be 1.4 litre petrol engine which will boost the power of 89 bhp. As far as diesel version is concerned it will be also offered with same engine configuration of 1.3 litre Multi jet engine with two power options of 5 bhp and 90 bhp. Both the variants will be mated with five speed manual gearbox.
Moving towards the physical appearance of Punto Evo on the exterior front it receives the complete new front fascia developed on the Avventura Concept showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2014. The bumper at front side receives new grille, wrap around headlamps, fog lamps and many more. Inside the cabin it receives it receives the changes as offered in facelift Linea launched recently. Industry experts believe that with major upgrades the new Fiat Punto Evo will definitely succeed in marking its presence more strongly in Indian car market.
