Face-lifted Toyota Fortuner, Innova and Camry ready to go at Delhi Expo
One of the largest automakers globally Toyota Motors, is expected to unleash three face-lifted vehicles at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo apart from the other concept vehicles and futuristic technology filled products. These three vehicles include Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) Toyota Innova, Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Fortuner and luxury sedan Toyota Camry. These vehicles are the most awaited products from the Japanese auto giant, especially Fortuner and Innova that carry long waiting periods. The 2012 versions of all these three products carry some or the other changes in the exterior and interior compartment.
Toyota Fortuner has been a born star since its initial launch, as its sales were and are ultimate till date in the premium SUV segment in the auto sector. The 2012 Fortuner will get more muscular looks, as its front appearance now resembles of costly Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Prado vehicles as face-lifted Fortuner’s headlamps seem to have stolen from them. With the launch of this new monstrous SUV, the consumers will breathe easy as it will now lessen the long waiting period.

The brawny vehicle may get a 5-speed automatic transmission along with the option of two-wheel drive, and that will be the base level product in the Toyota’s Fortuner line up in India as it will be priced lower as compared to the present all-wheel-drive version. New front grille and new body colored bumpers along with stylish head lights are expected in the exterior. Revived rear portion and new alloys will surely enlighten overall appearance of the SUV. There will be no changes in the engine department as the same mammoth 3.0L turbocharged diesel power-train will be seen ruling under the bonnet.
When Toyota launched MUV Innova in 2005, it gave an all new definition to the utility segment that was earlier ruled by its own product Toyota Qualis; which wore aged-old or one can say regular looks of an MUV, but with Innova’s modern appearance and elements the company demonstrated that an MUV can also be that stylish and feature packed.

Now, the new variant in the form of face-lifted Innova is projected to be launched at the Delhi Auto Expo next month. In the exteriors, the front and rear of the vehicle possess redefined styling with new head lamps and tail lamps along with new body colored bumpers. The alloy wheels will be presented in a whole new design format.
In the revamped interior portion a new central console awaits you, furthermore with the DVD player and reverse camera that will be offered on the top end Innova VX version. The Innova also boasts long waiting period that will be cut short with the launch of new 2012 Innova. An automatic transmission may not be offered in the face-lifted vehicle. The same trusted petrol and diesel powered power-trains will cater to the 2012 Toyota Innova.

The premium presentation from the company in the form of 2012 Toyota Camry is expected to be launched at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo scheduled in January. The luxurious sedan will also appear with minor modification in the conspicuous exteriors and class leading interiors.
The car had record sales in the past and is a prominent choice of the elite class car-buyers. Although a dip in the sales chart was observed due to it’s a bit less fuel efficient petrol engine that allowed the consumers to switch to competition offering. Apart from the appearance change, the visitors would love to see a frugal diesel variant of the sedan. And this would be the correct platform to introduce diesel power-train to match the likes of Skoda Superb.
