Excessive Traffic To Book Tata Tiago EV Crashes The Website
According to the sources of Tata Motors, its official website crashed several times due to excessive traffic to book the recently launched Tiago EV. The domestic carmaker started receiving its bookings on Monday and will start its delivery in January 2023.
Commenting on this, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, said, “We are overwhelmed with the response to the Tiago. ev at our dealerships and on our website. With thousands of customers rushing to book online at the same time, the website slowed down for a bit and is restored. We regret the inconvenience to our customers”. Moving ahead, he added, that the issue is rectified and all customer queries are replied to properly.
The electric hatchback was launched on September 28, 2022, with the introductory price ranging from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom price) for the first 10,000 customers. The Tata Tiago EV is one of the most affordable electric vehicles in the country. The electric version of Tiago comes with two battery options of 25 kW and 19.2 kW. The former is developed to deliver an average of 315 kilometres on a single charge, whereas the latter delivers an average of 250 kilometres respectively.
