The arrival of the festive season has bought a big smile on the faces of auto manufacturers. During the nine days of the Navratri, the Indian car market witnessed a dynamic growth of 57 per cent. According to the sales statistics of the car market, more than 1.10 lakh units of passenger cars were sold during the Navratri, compared to 64,850 units of passenger cars sold during the same period last year. This was almost 70% more than the sales of the last year. To encash the situation, the car-making companies are now offering a hefty discount on their best-selling models. Below are the discounts available on the five most popular hatchbacks in India.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio: The country’s leading car-making company, the Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited, launched the facelift Celerio hatchback in the Indian car market last year. This festive season the company is offering a discount of Rs 59,000 on this hatchback, this includes a cash discount of Rs 40,000, an exchange discount of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000.
Maruti Wagon R: The muscular hatchback Wagon R is available at a discount of Rs 40,000, this includes a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.
Maruti Suzuki Swift: The Swift hatchback is one of the all-time best-selling hatchbacks by the company after its launch. The company will soon launch its facelift version in the market. Before that, during this festive season, it is available with a discount of Rs 50,000, consisting of a cash discount of Rs 30,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: The next generation Alto K10 hatchback was launched just a few months back. This festival you bring the new Alto K10 with a discount of Rs 39,000, including cash benefits of up to Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000.
Renault Kwid: The Kwid hatchback by the French carmaker Renault is available with a discount of Rs 35,000. This includes cash benefits of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.
