Engine details of Tata Nexon leaked online
Going through the increasing shift of buyers towards compact SUV’s during last couple years now days every major car maker is launching its compact SUV enriched with additional features than compared to other car manufacturers. Following the same trend domestic car maker Tata Motors is going to launch its proposed compact SUV named as Nexon sometimes during the end of next year. The compact SUV has been caught going under test drives on various occasions and recently car lovers succeeded in witnessing its first look on roads.
Showcased as conceptual compact SUV during the last Indian Auto Expo held in 2014 at Delhi, Nexon is expected to be offered with price tag varying between Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. Recently spies have witnessed in collecting the news about the engine options that would be offered in this compact SUV. According to reports it will be rendered in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be offered 1.5 litre Revotron engine boosting the power of 100 bhp, apart from this there would be one more option of 1.2 litre Revotron engine in petrol variant which will be followed by 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine which is also offered in Bolt and Zest.
It is also rumored that car maker may showcase the production version of Nexon during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2016 to be held in February 2016. In Indian car maker Nexon will compete against recently launched TUV 300 by another domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra and EcoSport from U.S. based car maker Ford.
