Citroen Updates C3 Aircross Ahead Of Festive Season

The French carmaker Citroen has updated its C3 Aircross SUV before the arrival of the festive season. The refreshed compact SUV C3 Aircross is launched in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom price) for the base variant. This price is a special price and will be applicable only for a short period. With this, the company has also initiated the bookings of the new C3 Aircross, which will commence delivery on October 8, 2024.

The compact SUV was launched in September, with a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom price). It is available in both five-seater and seven-seater options, followed by the removable third-row seat. The refreshed version has undergone major changes in the form of cosmetic and mechanical updates. 
 
Starting from the engine option, the refreshed Citroen C3 Aircross now receives a new 1.2-litre Puretech 82 engine boosting the power of 105 bhp and the torque of 205Nm, along with the existing 1.2-litre 110 turbo-petrol engine. In the updated version, the existing engine now generates a slightly less power of 109 bhp. The transmission system will include the options of a five-speed manual gear transmission system, a six-speed manual gear transmission system, and a six-speed automatic transmission system.
 
Speaking about the new features, the new C3 Aircross comes equipped with a bunch of new features including grab handles for front passengers, LED projector headlights, power-folding ORVMs, rear AC vents, power windows, and a soft-touch instrument panel. The company has updated the list of safety features in the C3 Aircross 2024 including six airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors, followed by more than 40 additional safety features. Some major safety features include an electronic stability program (ESP), a hill-hold assist system, a tyre-pressure monitoring system and a few more. 
 
With the festive season standing next door, the French carmaker aims to strengthen its position in the SUV segment of the Indian car market.
