Brochure of Generation Next Hyundai Verna Leaked Ahead Of Its Launch
Slated for launch on August 22, 2107 the details of generation next Verna sedan from Korean car maker Hyundai is leaked in cyber world ahead of its launch. In its new avatar the Verna will be offered with two engine options of 1.6 litre petrl and 1.6 litre diesel engine options (that means the 1.4 litre engine option will be discontinued, going through the details of leaked brochure). The petrol engine is reported to generate the power of 123 PS and 6,400 rpm and torque of 155 Nm at 4,850 rpm. The diesel variant on the other side will generate the power of 128 PS at 4,000 rpm and torque of 260 Nm at rpm varying from 1,500 – 3,000 rpm. The engine transmission duties will be performed by six speed manual transmission system as standard duty followed by option of six speed automatic transmission system. Physically the new Verna will have length of 4,400 mm, width of 1,729mm, height 1,475mm with wheelbase of 2,600 mm. After launch the new Hyundai Verna will compete against Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.

In its new avatar the Verna undergoes plethora of cosmetic updates in form of cascade designed front chrome garnished grille, projector fog lights with cornering lamps and surrounded by chrome boundary, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 16 inch diamond alloy wheels, garnished boot lid and exterior handles at doors, LED tail lamps, electronic OVRMs, turn indicators on exterior mirrors.
Inside the cabin it will adorn seven inch touchscreen infotainment system offered in top end SX and SX (O) trims, five inch touchscreen system offered in EX variant. The seven inch touchscreen system supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, and with Mirror Link. The system can be operated with voice command and also with iblue smartphone application. The top end variant SX (O) also receives cruise control, sliding front armrest and rear centre armrest, ventilated front seats, rear curtain, electric sunroof, rear air conditioner vents with eco coating tech and rear adjustable headrests.
On the safety front it adorns features like ABS+EBD, dual airbags as standard features, the top end variant SX (O) receives six airbags. Other safety features include impact sensing auto door unlock, headlamp escort function, anti pinch driver window with one touch automatic roll down, ISOFIX child seat anchors, burglar alarm and few more.
