Bollywood Shanshah Amitabh Bachchan Seen Driving Mahindra Thar
The craze of car enthusiasts for Mahindra Thar SUV is no more a hidden secret. Not only a layman but celebrities are keen to enjoy its drive. The latest name to make its presence in the list of celebrities driving the Thar SUV is Bollywood’s Shanshah Amitabh Bachchan. According to recent reports, the megastar was recently seen driving the black-coloured Thar SUV while going to his home. The Thar that Amitabh Bachan was the top-end 4 WD version.
However, this is not confirmed which version of Thar Amitabh Bachchan was driving, this is based on an assumption of the 4WD logo marked on that specific version of the Thar SUV. This trim of Thar receives the power from a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine as an option. The smaller version of Thar has the logo of RWD studded on it and comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Apart from its powerful engine configurations, Thar adorns a plethora of features, including a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a manual air conditioner, steering-mounted controls, cruise control and power windows.
Reports reveal that inspired by the success enjoyed by Thar, the homegrown carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra is working on bringing its five-door version in 2024. At present, Thar is a strong contender for the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Jimmny and the Force Gurkha.
