BMW M2 to enhance the M series of BMW
The M Series luxurious sedans from German car maker BMW are recognized for their superior performance and have played an incredible role in establishing BMW as a brand name. Now it is reported that car maker is further going to explore the series of its M badge cars which would M2 and is expected to go for production in the beginning of 2015 and company may launch it by the end of 2015 or in early months of 2016.
The BMW M2 will be boosted with N55B30T0 3.0-litre turbocharged engine and is expected to generate the power of 374 bhp. The same engine is offered in its elder sibling 2 series M235i racing and generates the power of 312 bhp and therefore it would be interested to see that whether the engine will be able to generate the additional power of more than 50 bhp or not. As far as transmission system is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by the company in this regard.
As far as entrance of BMW M2 Series in Indian car market, there are not any speculations and its elder sibling 1 Series is still being sold in Indian car market, although company still need to revise its price so as to enhance its sales.
