BMW launches X5 M and X6 M, Priced Rs. 1.55 Crore and 1.60 Crore Respectively
German luxurious car maker BMW has launched premium SUV’s X5M and X6M in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 1.55 Crore (ex-showroom price New Delhi) and 1.60 Crore (ex-showroom price New Delhi) respectively. Both the vehicles have been developed to satisfy the needs of who prefer to pay any price for luxuriousness, comfort and power. Both the vehicles will be brought through CBU route and will compete against ML63 and GL63 AMG from domestic competitor Mercedes Benz.
Both the vehicles are empowered 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine carried from M5 and M6. The engine churns the power of 575 PS at 6,000 rpm and torque of 750Nm at 2200 rpm-5000 rpm. The power is sent through four wheel as an impact of which the vehicles touch the mark of 100 kmph from standstill within the span of 4.2 seconds followed by top speed of 250 kmph. The X5M will be Sports Activity Vehicle while X6M would be Sports Activity Coupe.
Equipped with electronic dampers and self leveling air suspension system offered at rear side both the vehicles are available with option 20 inch and 21 inch standard and optional wheel system. An interesting feature offered in both these vehicle is arranging steering wheel according to your requirement in comfort, sport and sport plus modes. With aerodynamic architecture both the vehicles have been developed to offer superior performance while driving on rugged roads.
