BMW 1 Series facelift undergoing test drives with M Sport Pack
It is rumored that German car maker BMW is working on facelift version of its luxurious hatchback 1 Series. According to reports spies have witnessed the prototype of facelift 1 Series being tested on Lisbon roads in Portugal. The trim of 1 Series spied was 118d xDrive and was painted in estoril blue metallic paint. The upcoming version of BMW 1 Series will bestow B47 engine boosting 4 bhp more than compared to previous N47 diesel engine. It is speculated that because of its M Sport feature that price of facelift 1 Series would be higher about 3,500-4000 Euros than the existing version.
According to reports once launched in global market the facelift 1 Series will make its way soon to Indian car market where it has been so popular because of high price, absence of luxurious cabin and simple looks. It is speculated that the upcoming version of facelift 1 Series in Indian car market would be empowered with 1.5 litre, 3 cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. The existing version of BMW 1 Series in Indian car market is offered with price tag of Rs. 22.65 lakh and competes against Volvo V40 Cross Country.
