Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025: A Show Not To Be Missed

The Indian automotive industry is all set to witness the organisation of the highly awaited event—the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, scheduled to commence on January 17. After the huge success enjoyed by the Expo in 2024, the upcoming Expo is expected to showcase India's dynamically expanding auto industry and its shift toward electric vehicles.
 
 
Electric Vehicles Expected To Showcase Their Charm
 
With the increasing use of electric vehicles in the country, several automakers are tightening their seatbelts to exhibit their latest offerings. To begin with, the country’s leading car manufacturing company, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, is all set to make its entrance into the electric niche with the electric version of its compact SUV Vitara in the Indian car market. Developed on the Heartext-e platform, the e Vitara will come with two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. 
 
Hyundai Creta Electric: After the Indo-Japanese carmaker, another leading car manufacturing company Hyundai India is all set to launch the Creta Electric in four variants with two battery options of 51 kWh and 42 kWh. Both battery packs are reported to deliver an average of 493 km and 390 km respectively. The electric Creta will carry features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Level 2 ADAS features and dual 10.25-inch displays. Competitors include the Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, and Maruti e Vitara.
 
Hyundai Ioniq 9: Apart from electric Creta the Korean carmaker Hyundai will also introduce the electric Ioniq 9 during the show. Before this, the company had showcased the Ioniq 9 EV at the 2024 LA Auto Show. It will receive the power from a powerful 110.3 kWh battery offering a range of 620 km. 
 
New EVs From Tata Motors: With Nexon EV, domestic carmaker Tata Motors dominates the electric car segment in India. The carmaker now plans to extend its electric portfolio with electric versions of Harrier and Sierra SUVs.  The electric Harrier SUV will come with a 60-80 KWh battery delivering an average of 500 km. It will come with a rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options. The electric Sierra will host several advanced features including twin motors offering the range between 450 km to 550 km.
 
Tata Motors will also showcase facelifts for the Tiago and Tigor models, featuring revamped designs, enhanced infotainment systems, and six airbags as standard.
 
MG’s Cyberster to Steal the Show: MG Motor India is set to fascinate Indian car lovers with the Cyberster, an electric sports car embellished with scissor doors and a 77 kWh battery offering a range of 570 km on a single charge. The sports car can reach a speed from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds, the Cyberster is expected to determine new standards of performance by EVs in India.
 
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 aims to highlight India’s shift toward electric mobility followed by the option for internal combustion engine enthusiasts. With top automakers unveiling cutting-edge vehicles, the event promises to set the tone for a transformative year in India’s automotive industry.
