2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Priced Rs 6.79 lakh: Check Details

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the fourth-generation Dzire compact sedan in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh for the base variant. The top-end variant is priced at Rs 10.14 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices. The refreshed compact sedan by the Indo-Japanese carmaker is also available in the CNG variant and is offered at Rs 8.74 lakh (ex-showroom price). In its altered version the new Dzire has undergone vast changes making it a strong competitor for Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.

Under the hood, the 2024 Maruti Dzire gets power from a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, delivering 80 bhp at 5,700 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm.Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT variant. The VXi and ZXi trims in the CNG variant are offered with a manual gear transmission system. 
 
The notable achievement of the new Dzire is its five-star rating in the Global NCAP crash tests, making it the first Maruti Suzuki model to achieve a perfect score. This news is expected to customers preferring the integration of safety measures in their vehicles.  Additionally, this also makes the new Dzire a strong contender in the segment.
Speaking about the design philosophy used for developing the new Dzire, is completely different from its Swift hatchback counterpart. 
 
The front fascia now features sleek, rectangular LED headlamps, a revamped bumper, and a redesigned grille adorned with a thin chrome strip centred around the Suzuki logo. At the rear, updates include a redesigned bumper, new LED tail lamps, a reshaped chrome strip, and a lip spoiler, accompanied by a shark-fin antenna. The car retains its overall dimensions but now comes with a new alloy design on its 15-inch wheels.
 
Inside the cabin, it receives a fresh redesign while maintaining the popular dual-tone black and beige theme. Borrowing elements from the Swift, the dashboard now features a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Top-spec variants are equipped with leather upholstery, a sunroof, and several high-tech features, such as automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and a 360-degree camera system. Additional conveniences include a wireless charger, dual charging ports at the rear, and a rear armrest with integrated cup holders.
 
Maruti Suzuki's refreshed Dzire combines modern design elements, enhanced safety, and cutting-edge features to maintain its stronghold in the competitive subcompact sedan market. With its latest upgrades, the Dzire is poised to attract both new buyers and long-time fans of the brand.
