2017 Hyundai Verna Launched With Introductory Price of Rs. 7.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom)
Hyundai Motors India Limited the Indian arm of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has launched the generation next Verna in Indian car maker with the introductory price of Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The new Verna is developed on company’s K2 platform which also carries cues from Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. Below the bonnet the new Verna receives two engine options of 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine and 1.6 litre U2 CRDi diesel engine that are capable of boosting the power of 123 PS and 128 PS respectively. The transmission duties are carried out six speed manual and six speed automatic transmission system. With seven color options the new Verna is offered in four trims E, EX, SX and SX (O).
The front fascia of new Verna sports projector headlamps and LED DRLs, giving the sedan completely an aggressive look. Other notable features offered on the exterior front adorns halogen headlamps and tail lamps, chrome garnished front grille, body coloured bumpers and handles, electronic ORVMs integrated with turn signal lights, stainless steel wheels with covers. Inside the cabin it adorns some worth mentioning features in form of dual tone interior treatment, superior quality fabric upholstery, metal garnish on interior door handles, and rear centre arm rest. Other interior features include power windows, electric power steering with tilt adjustment facility, luggage lamps, cooled glovebox, power outlet, dead pedal etc.
On the safety front it is equipped with dual airbags, central locking system, seat belt pre-tensioner for driver and passenger, ABS+EBD, ISOFIX child seats mount and few more on top end variants.
