January 20, 2026: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has entered India’s electric SUV segment with the launch of the Urban Cruiser Ebella, its first all-electric SUV for the country. Built on a dedicated BEV platform, the Ebella offers modern design, a tech-rich cabin, and advanced safety features including Level 2 ADAS. It is available with two LFP battery options, with the larger pack offering a claimed range of up to 543 km. Bookings will open on January 20, 2026, while prices are expected to be announced soon. The Ebella reflects Toyota’s push towards sustainable and future-ready mobility in India.
