This Diwali Bring Home the Toyota Innova Crysta Limited Edition
October 20, 2021: The Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has launched the Limited Edition of the Innova Crysta with some new features. These features are introduced in the middle-level trim GX which is now christened as the Toyota Innova Crysta Limited Edition.
The new features added in the interiors of the Toyota Innova Crysta Limited Edition includes a head-up display, a wireless charger, a door-edge lighting system with an option of 16 colours, a 360-degree camera, an air ioniser, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.
Bookings of BS-VI Compliant Toyota Innova Crysta Starts
December 19, 2019: Japanese carmaker Toyota Motors has initiated the bookings of BS-VI compliant engine slated for launch by the end of January 2020. The new BS-VI engine is being launched in continuation of the Government of India’s notification for launching the new vehicles equipped with a BS-VI engine. The engine details, however, have not yet been revealed by the company, but it is believed that they will generate more power than their existing efficiencies in both the petrol and diesel variants.
More than 50% of buyers opt for AMT trim of Toyota Innova Crysta
August 29, 2016: According to recent reports from TKM, the new initiative of Innova Crysta continues of lure buyers since its launch in Indian car market during the month of May this year. The reports also reveal that till now company has recorded sales of 7,765 units till the month of July and has waiting period of about three months. However to minimize the waiting period car maker is enhancing its production efficiency to 7,800 units per month. In the beginning Innova Crysta was offered only in diesel variant with two engine options of 2.4 litre and 2.8 litre configuration, later on August 9, 2016 company also launched its petrol variant empowered with 2.7 litre Dual VVT-i engine.
Toyota launches Innova Crysta Petrol in Indian car market
August 9, 2016: After successful launch of Innova Crysta diesel in Indian car market, Japanese car maker Toyota has now launched its petrol variant with starting price of Rs. 13.72 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) for its base variant. The petrol Innova Crysta is empowered with 2.7 litre four cylinder engine that boosts the power of 166 hp and torque of 245Nm. The launch of Innova Crysta Petrol will now facilitate TKM to sale the new Innova Crysta in Delhi-NCR region where due to ban on diesel vehicles with more than 2000 cc displacement capacity company had not launched Innova Crysta in the region.
Toyota Innova Crysta Petrol launching next week, reaches its dealers
August 5, 2016: According to recent reports Toyota dealers across the country have started getting the units Innova Crysta petrol at their stock yards, giving an indication of its launch sometimes during the next week. It is also reported that physically the petrol variant of Innova Crysta will continue the same looks as offered in diesel trim of existing Innova Crysta. Under the hood as reported earlier it will be empowered with 2.7 litre four cylinder VVTi petrol engine.

July 22, 2016: Japanese car maker Toyota has commenced the bookings of Innova Crysta in Indian car market and deliveries are expected to begin from August 2016. The petrol variant is reported to be empowered with 2.7 litre petrol engine and will be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system and six speed automatic transmission system. At present Innova Crysta is offered only in diesel variant with two engine options of 2.4 litre and 2.8 litre.
Toyota Innova Crysta defeats Innova in terms of sales
July 11, 2011: According to recent reports Toyota Innova Crysta the refreshed version of Innova MPV has succeeded in breaking the dominance of its sibling Innova in terms of sales. It is reported that where TKM sold out 5,028 and 4,144 units of Innova respectively as against 7,259 and 8,171 units of Innova Crysta sold during the same period.
Toyota Innova Crysta records waiting period of three months
July 1, 2016: According to recent reports from Japanese car maker Toyota Motors the waiting period for its recently launched MPV Innova Crysta has gone up-to three months, with more than 60% of bookings for top end Z variant. The top end variant of Innova Crysta is powered with 2.8 L GD turbo diesel engine that boosts the power of 174 PS and torque of 360N. It is mated with six speed automatic gear box and delivers an average of 14.29 kmpl. The base variant is empowered with 2.4 L GD diesel engine and boosts the power of 149 PS and torque of 343 Nm. It is mated with five speed manual gear box and has fuel efficiency of 15.10 kmpl.
Toyota to launch Innova Crysta in petrol variant
May 17, 2016: It is reported that after launching refreshed Innova MPV as Innova Crysta in Indian car market on May 3, 2016, Japanese car maker is planning to offer its petrol variant enriched with 2.7 litre petrol engine during the festive season. The petrol variant of Innova Crysta is already on sale in Indonesian car market where it is enriched with 2.0 litre petrol engine and called as Kijang Innova.
