Spies Capture Tata Tigor CNG Parked In Dealers Yard, Launching on January 19, 2022
January 18, 2022: Domestic carmaker Tata Motors is ready to launch the CNG variant of its compact sedan Tigor in the Indian car market on January 19, 2002. Before that, the spies have captured the CNG Tigor standing in the yards of the dealerships. In its CNG version, Tigor continues to come with an existing 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, boosting the power of 85 bhp and the torque of 113Nm. The CNG version might, however, generate less power. The looks and other features will be the same, except the ‘i-CNG’ badge placed on the boot lid.
Tata Motors Delivers The First Fleet of Tigor EV to Ministry of AYUSH
August 27, 2020: The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has signed an agreement with the Ministry of AYUSH for supplying the electronic of Tigor to encourage the use of electric vehicles by the government officials. The first batch of the same was delivered to Mr. P.N. Ranjit Kumar, Joint Secretary (Admin), Ministry of AYUSH from Mr. Raj Kumar Luthra, General Manager, EESL.
Tata Motors Sign A Treaty With UGVCL
February 17, 2020: Homegrown carmaker Tata Motors has signed an agreement with the Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd to supply the fleet of electric Tigor for its official use. The fleet of electric Tigor’s will be supplied as a part of the company’s treaty with EESL to supply the electric vehicles to the government department for encouraging the use of electric vehicles within the country.
Tata Tigor is the Best Selling EV in India
January 20, 2020: According to the recent reports the compact sedan Tigor by the domestic carmaker Tata Motor has emerged as the best-selling EV in the Indian car market. According to recent sales statistics the domestic carmaker sold out 669 units of EV Tigor in India during the period from April 2019 to December 2019.

October 10, 2019: Domestic car maker Tata Motors has launched the extended range of Tigor EV in the Indian car market with the starting price of Rs. 9.44 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The new Tigor is offered in three variants namely XE+, XM+ and XT+. It is reported to deliver an ARAI approved average of 213 Km on a single charge and comes equipped with two charging ports for fast and slow charging.

October 11, 2018: With introducing any type of mechanical updates, domestic car maker Tata Motors has launched the generation next of its compact sedan Tigor in the Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 5.20 lakh (ex-showroo). The new 2018 Tigor receives, dual tone treatment with titanium colored faux leather seats, height adjustable driver seat, knitted roof liner, rear armrest and cup holders offered as a standard feature across the line-up. First Fleet Of Electric Tata Tigor Dispatched From Sanand Plant
December 7, 2017: With an objective to supply 10,000 units of electric cars to Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) domestic car maker Tata Motors has rolled out first fleet of its best selling compact sedan Tigor to the organization. According to the sources car maker had supplied 250 units of Tigor in the first shipment after receiving the Letter of Authority (LoA) from the EESL, the next fleet of 100 more cars are reported to be supplied to the group soon after receiving the LoA for the same. Visually the electric Tigor looks almost similar to regular Tigor except embellishment of few features to make it look different from its standard version.
Tata Tigor AMT Launched with the starting price of Rs. 5.75 lakh
November 2, 2017: Finally with the increasing demand of AMT variant of Tigor compact sedan in Indian car market, domestic car maker Tata Motors has launched the same in XTA and XZA trims with the price tag of Rs. 5.75 lakh and Rs. 6.22 lakh (ex-showroom price). After launch in Indian car market the AMT Tigor will compete against Hyundai Xcent and Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
