Tata Motors to bring facelift Bolt next year

 
November 5, 2015: It is reported that home grown car maker Tata Motors is working on bringing the facelift version of Bolt hatchback sometimes during next year. Launched earlier this year Bolt is offered in both petrol and diesel variants which are empowered with 1.2 litre Revotron turbo charged petrol and 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engines. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. According to reports apart from various contemporary changes the facelift Bolt might be also offered with automatic transmission system in diesel variant.

Tata Launches Celebration Edition of Bolt

 
October 13, 2015: Domestic car maker Tata Motors has launched Celebration Edition of its hatchback Bolt in Indian car marker during this festive season. The new features offered in Celebration Edition of Bolt  are Black painted roof, bonnet and C-pillars, bright colored scuff plate, sportier boot spoiler at rear portion, followed by Celebration Edition badge and body graphics.

1500 bookings for Tata Bolt before launch

 
January 26, 2105: Tata Bolt the newly launched hatchback from domestic car maker Tata Motors had received around 1500 booking before its launch and actual price announcement. This was revealed by company sources at the time of Bolt’s launch on January 22, 2015.  The hatchback has been launched in  both petrol and diesel disguises with starting price of Rs. 4.44 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) for petrol trim and Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) for diesel trim.

January 22, 2015: Making its words true, domestic car maker today launched its highly awaited hatchback Bolt in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 4.44 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Based on DESIGNEXT concept the hatchback has been offered in both petrol and diesel trims. The petrol trim is equipped with 1.2 litre Revotron MPFi engine boosting the power of 88.8 bhp and torque of 140Nm while the diesel trim bestows 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine, borrowed from Fiat, this engine generates the power of 75 bhp and torque of 190 Nm. Both petrol and diesel engines have been mated with five speed manual gear transmission system.

January 15, 2015: According to recent reports associated with Tata Bolt from domestic car maker Tata Motors the hatchback would be launched with starting price tag of Rs. 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom price) and going high to Rs. 6.5 lakh. The hatchback is reported to make its debut on January 22, 2015. It would be offered in both petrol and diesel trims empowered with 1.2 litre Revotron turbo charged engine and 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine respectively.

January 5, 2015: It is reported that domestic car maker Tata Bolt would be launched in Indian car market on January 22, 2015 and not on January 20, 2015 as reported earlier. The hatchback is speculated to launch in both petrol and diesel variants which would be enriched with 1.2 litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine and 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine respectively.

MapmyIndia to offer GPS navigation system to Tata Bolt

 
December 16, 2014: According to recent reports domestic car maker Tata Motors will boost its upcoming hatchback Bolt with GPS navigation system offered by MapmyIndia. The hatchback is expected to make its debut sometimes in the beginning of 2015. The navigation system offered by MapmyIndia for Bolt is coded to facilitate smooth integration between phone and in-dash screen.
 

Tata Bolt launch in India set for May 2014

April 22, 2014: Tata Bolt is one of the products which was showcased by home grown car maker Tata Motors during the Indian Auto Expo 2014. Another vehicle to share the platform with Tata Zest and therefore both of them are blessed with same engine configurations which will be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises. The petrol version will be equipped with 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged intercooled MPFi petrol engine zooming the power of 84 bhp and the diesel will be energized with 1.3 litre Quadrajet engine churning the power of 89 bhp.

The upcoming hatchback by domestic car maker would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version would be empowered with 1.2 litre Revotron eninge merged with multi-point fuel injection system. The engine boosts the power of 84 bhp at 5000 rpm and torque of 140 Nm at 1750 rpm to 3000 rpm. The engine would be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. Moving towards the diesel mill it will be mounted with 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine carried from Fiat, boosting the power of 74 bhp at 4000 rpm and torque of 190 Nm at rpm varying between 1750 rpm to 3000 rpm. It would be interested to know that Bolt would be the first hatchback in segment that would be offered with five speed automated manual transmission system along with five speed manual gear transmission system.

Till now nothing has been revealed by car maker about acceleration performance of hatchback. But still industry experts speculate that the petrol version would be capable to crossing the mark of 100 kmph within the spell of few seconds. On the other side diesel mill that is  bestowed with 1.32 litre Quadrajet diesel engine will break the mark of 100 kmph in the span of 16 to 18 seconds followed by top speed of 148 kmph.
