Mercedes Benz GLS Class launched in India

May 18, 2016: German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz has launched the upgraded version of GL SUV as GLS Class in Indian car market with starting price of R.s 80.4 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Under the hood it receives 3.0 litre V6 bi-turbo diesel engine developing the power of 258 bhp and torque of 620Nm. The engine is mated with nine speed automatic transmission system transmitting the power to four wheels through 4MATIC AWD system. On the cosmetic front it receives same updates as offered in other S Class vehicles.

2013 Mercedes Benz GL Class launched in India

16 May, 2013: The much anticipated 2013 Mercedes Benz GL Class has been launched in India today, at a starting price of Rs 77.5 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Mercedes Benz India launched next generation version for GL350 CDI model of the 7 seater SUV, which houses a powerful 3L V6 turbo diesel engine and churns out 260 PS max power and 620 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox and top speed of the vehicle is 200 Kmph. In terms of features, the GL Class comes equipped with Active Park Assist, Cross Wind Assist, 360-degree camera, AMG body kit, temperature controlled cup holders, Designo Upholstery, 21 inch AMG alloy wheels and many more.
