2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Launched in India

March 1, 2017: Mercedes-Benz India, the Indian alliance of German car maker has launched the generation next E-Class sedan in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 56.15 lakh for E 200 and Rs. 69.45 lakh for E 350d (both the prices are ex-showroom prices in Mumbai). On the exterior front the new E-Class follows the same design philosophy as offered in S-Class and C-Class and therefore almost looks identical to them. Inside the cabin it outsources the same dashboard as offered in S-class. The petrol E 200 trim is empowered with in line four cylinder 1991 cc petrol engine while the E350 d is empowered withV6 2987 cc diesel engine.

Special “Edition E” of Mercedes Benz E Class launched in Indian car market

February 24, 2016: German luxurious car maker is celebrating 20 years of E Class sedan in Indian car market and therefore to make this event a memorable event car maker has launched its special edition named as Edition E in India with price tag of Rs. Rs. 48.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Alike its predecessor the special edition will be offered in three variants E200, E250 and E350CDI. E200 is offered with same 2.0 lire petrol engine, E250 with 2.2 litre diesel engine and E350 CDI is empowered with 3.0 litre diesel engine. Apart from continuing the existing features the special editions sports some additional features comprising Edition E badges at different points of this luxurious sedan.

Mercedes Benz E Class to phase out with “Edition E” version

February 17, 2016: According to reports German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz will launch special edition of its E-Class sedan as “Edition E” before phasing it out from Indian car market and launch its next generation. Continuing the same engine configuration of 2143cc 4 cylinder turbo charged diesel engine boosting the power of 201PS and torque of 500Nm as offered in E250 CDI, the special edition will adorn some interesting features on both exteriors and interiors. The eye catching feature offered on exteriors will be special badges mounted on front and rear portions.

Mercedes-Benz releases pictures of next generation E-Class

January 12, 2016: Mercedez-Benz has released the pictures of 2017 E-Class sedan in cyber world giving the complete details of everything from engine configuration to features that will be adorned in this luxurious sedan. The refreshed E Class will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants which will be empowered with of E 200 four cylinder petrol engine and E220 d four cylinder diesel engine. The former engine option churns the power of 181 bhp and torque of 300 Nm, while the later engine boosts the power of 192 bhp and torque of 400 Nm. Both the engines will be mated with nine speed automatic transmission system and embellished with Eco start/stop button.

Mercedes Benz to launch E 350 CDI tomorrow

September 11, 2014: Mercedes Benz, the German luxurious car maker will add one more variant in E Class premium sedan named as E 350 CDI. The new E 350 CDI would be placed above its siblings E 250 CDI and would be empowered with 3.5 litre V6 diesel engine boosting the power of 300 bhp. It is expected to be launched with price tag falling between Rs. 50 lakh and Rs. 60 lakh and is expected to carry the heritage of E Class a step ahead.

2014 Mercedes Benz E Class launched at Rs 41.50 lakh

25 June, 2013: German car maker Mercedes has finally launched the 2014 E Class in India. The new avatar of the vehicle has been offered in two engine options and three variants. The available variants of new E Class are E200 CGI, E250 CDI Avantgarde and E250 CDI Limited Edition which are priced at Rs 41.5 lakh, Rs 44.48 lakh and Rs 49.9 lakh respectively. All prices are from Ex-showroom Delhi. The petrol model of the luxury sedan comes loaded with a 2.0L, 181bhp petrol engine while the diesel model has a 2.2L, 201bhp diesel engine unit under the cap. The new E Class is fully based on the platform of A Class hatchback. It comes equipped with LED headlamps, reverse Eco start-stop, parking assist with camera, COMMAND system with navigation etc. advanced features.
