January 22, 2015: German car maker Mercedes Benz has finally launched its highly awaited luxurious sedan CLA Class in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 31.50 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The sedan has been offered in both petrol and diesel trims which are empowered with 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine boosting the power of 183.5 PS and the peak torque of 300 Nm. On the other side diesel trim is energized with 2.2 litre diesel engine churning the power of 136 PS and torque of 309 Nm. The sedan has been launched to compete against its German rival Audi A3, already existing in Indian car market.
Mercedes Benz CLA Class Looks
The Mercedes Benz CLA will have a compact body structure. Its rear profile is bedecked with a markedly designed taillight cluster that is powered by turn indicators and LED brake lights. Having a muscular design the rear bumper is integrated with an AMG sports exhaust system that is a duo of air pipe with two chrome tipped exhaust pipes. It is also fixed with a protectivecoating with smartly curved wheel arches that is dexterously fixed with set of 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels. In front profile, it has a A-Class hatchback and the diamond radiator grille having a broad horizontally positioned twin-blade radiator grille. It is fitted with a chrome plated company's logo that gives it a dazzling look.

If we talk about the interiors, it has a magnificent interiors cabin that is elegantly made up with black color scheme. Interiors are designed for those, who wish to have a lavish cabin outfitted with advanced features. There is a high quality scratch resistant material used to give patrician finish inside. The dashboard is equipped with chrome tipped AC vents and its central console is prepared with an automatic AC unit, advanced infotainment system and several control functions. It is incorporated with centrally mounted start-up screen supporting navigation system and providing touch controls for audio components. As mentioned above, the car will have the 2.0-litre petrol engine which is ranked as the most powerful 4-cylinder and it has a 1991cc displacement capacity. It is also integrated with a fuel injection system. The petrol engine is outfitted with an advanced turbo charging unit which generates the power of 360Bhp at 6000rpm. A stylish seven speed DCT AMG Speedshift transmission gearbox which is accompanied by 4MATIC all-wheel drive system is expertly paired with the engine. There is also an AMG sports exhaust system which helps in improving acceleration and the performance of the engine.
The brand new 2.0-litre petrol engine having the most powerful 4-cylinder engine which is equipped with DCT 7- AMG speedshift transmission gearbox accompanied by 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. It can accelerate towards 100 Kmph from a standstill by taking the time only 4.6 seconds and the can be reached to the top speed 250 Kmph.
