2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Debuts In India
June 30, 2022: The country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh. The 2022 Brezza is the second generation of the famous compact SUV Vitara Brezza. This time the company has removed Vitara from its name and has named it Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Under the hood, it receives power from a 1.5-litre K-Series DualJet petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system. It also receives a bunch of cosmetic updates on exterior and interior fronts.
Maruti Suzuki Offers Wireless Charger for Vitara Brezza
July 6, 2020: The Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has offered the facility of wireless charger as an additional accessory, in the facelift version of the compact SUV Vitara Brezza. This facility is however offered only in the SX and SX(O) variants. The wireless charger has been offered with the price tag of Rs. 3,590 and facilitates the user to charge his mobile phone while driving.
The 2020 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Launched in India
February 25, 2020: Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the 2020 Vitara Brezza in the Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 7.34 lakh (ex-showroom price). Prior to this the carmaker had showcased the same during recently concluded Indian Auto Expo 2020 and received an encouraging response from the car enthusiasts. Mechanically the 2020 Vitara Brezza is empowered with 1.5 liter K-Series BS-Vi compliant engine and mated with with five-speed manual gear transmission system and an advanced automatic transmission system embedded with Smart Hybrid Technology.
Facelift Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Petrol To Be Offered With 1.2 Litre DualJet Engine
April 15, 2019: According to the recent reports from the country’s leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the facelift of compact SUV Vitara Brezza would be offered with 1.2 litre DualJet petrol engine, and with new in-house developed 1.5 litre diesel engine and replace the existing 1.3 litre DDiS engine. The petrol engine is reported to develop the power of 90 bhp and the torque of 120Nm, while the diesel will generate the power of 94 bhp and the torque of 225Nm.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Offered With AMT And New Color Options
May 10, 2018: Finally after two years of successful existence in the Indian car market country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has upgraded its best selling compact SUV Vitara Brezza with AMT system. Along with this the Indo-Japanese car makers have also updated the compact SUV with some safety features like ISOFIX child restraint system, dual airbags, high speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors, ABS+EBD, front seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters as standard feautures. The car maker has also introduced the new color option of Autumn Orange with Pearl Arctic white roof dual tone for the top variant.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Petrol to be launched during the Diwali
July 10, 2017: After successful launch of compact SUV Vitara Brezza in Indian car market in 2016, the Indo-Japanese car makers Maruti Suzuki India Limited are going to launch its petrol variant sometime during the festive season of Diwali this year. In beginning the first version of Vitara Brezza was launched in diesel variant of 1.3 litre engine, the petrol variant is expected to be offered with two engine option of 1.4 litre and 1.0 litre boosterjet engine in petrol variant and host the same cosmetic features as offered in diesel variant.
MSIL to Launch Petrol Vitara Brezza Soon in Indian car market
December 2, 2016:According to recent reports country’s leading car maker MSIL might bring the petrol variant of compact SUV Vitara Brezza soon in Indian car market, during the third quarter of next year. The petrol variant is expected to be boosted with 1.5 litre petrol engine that will churn the power of 100 bhp and mated with five speed manual and five speed automatic gearbox. It is also rumored that company might also introduce 1.0 litre Boosterjet engine as an option along with regular petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara AMT to launch soon
August 19, 2016: According to reports Suzuki has showcased the India made Vitara Brezza AMT during the 2016 Indonesia Motor Show, giving an indication of its launch soon in Indian car market. The AMT Vitara Brezza is reported to continue the existing 1.3 litre diesel engine followed by same exterior and interior features.
95,000 bookings received by Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

According to recent industry reports company has so far delivered 27,000 units of Vitara Brezza and to cater the increasing waiting period it is going to increase its production.
Production of Vitara Brezza to be ramped up by MSIL
June 28, 2016: It is reported that going through the excessive demand for its first ever compact SUV Vitara Brezza, country’s leading car maker MSIL is going to boost up its production and roll out 10,000 units of vehicle every month. According to reports since its launch company has sold out 20,588 units of Vitara Brezza during the months of April and May 2016.
