Datsun Launches Limited Of redi Go With The Price Tag Of Rs. 3.58 lakh
September 5, 2018: With an objective to commemorate the spirit of festive season Datsun India has launched the limited edition of Go crossover. The limited edition has been offered in two variants with an engine option of 800 cc and 1.0 litre engine. Both the engines are priced Rs. 3.58 lakh and Rs. 3.85 lakh respectively. The limited edition is equipped with bunch of new features including body graphics, satin chrome bezel on the gear knob, rear parking assist sensors and many more.
More than 900 units of Redi-Go to be recalled by Datsun
October 13, 2016: According to recent reports Nissan’s subsidiary Datsun is going to recall more than 900 units of its hatchback Redi-Go from Indian car market due to defect in fuel pipe. It is reported that the defected units were manufactured till May 18, 2016 and Datsun dealers across the country will rectify the issue free of cost without charging any additional amount from the owners. Recently French car maker Renault had also recalled about 50,000 units of its best selling hatchback Kwid from Indian car market. Interestingly both Renault Kwid and Datsun Redi-Go share the same platform and now both of them are facing the same technical issue also.
Sport Edition of redi Go launched in Indian car market
September 29, 2016: Datsun India has launched the limited Sport Edition of redi-Go urban crossover hatchback in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Continuing the same existing engine configuration the Sport Edition of redi-Go receives some new updates on exteriors and interiors to further enhance its look and make it compatible to Sport version.
310 units of RediGo sold by Datsun in a day during Malayalam New Year
August 24, 2016: It seems that the siren of good sales during festive season is blown. This can be witnessed from the sales of RediGo hatchback by Datsun, which is reported to sold out 310 units of hatchback during the Malayalam New Year Chingam. It is believed that because of its availability at competitive price of Rs. 2.43 lakh (ex-showroom price, Kochi) RediGo is receiving an encouraging response from buyers.
3000 units of Datsun redi-Go sold in less than one month
July 7, 2016: It is reported that Datsun, the subsidiary of Nissan Motors has sold out 3,000 units of redi-Go hatchback in just the period of 23 days since its launch. Launched almost a month ago, the Japanese car maker has overall sold out 4,297 units redi-Go in Indian car market. The hatchback is developed on CMF platform which was used in Kwid hatchback by Renault. Under the hood redi-Go is equipped with 799 cc three cylinder petrol engine that is capable of churning the power of 53 bhp and torque of 72Nm. The engine is mated with five speed manual gear transmission system and delivers an average of 25.17 kmpl.

The engine is mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. It is developed on same CMF-A platform on which Kwid from Renault has been developed and carries most of its cues from it.

It will be offered in petrol variant and empowered with 799cc petrol engine boosting the power of 54 bhp and torque of 72Nm. It has been developed on CMF-A platform as offered in Kwid from Renault and therefore carries most of its cues from it. It is speculated to be offered with starting price of Rs. 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Datsun leaks the price of Redi-Go before its launch
June 3, 2016: Japanese car maker Datsun has revealed the price of its upcoming car redi-Go just couple of days before its actual launch on June 7, 2016. The earlier reports revealed by company said that it will be launched in the price range of Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 3.5 lakh, but now on its official website company has revealed that it the price of entry level unit will commence from Rs. 2.39 lakh onwards. The announcement from car maker will definitely shake segment of small cars in Indian car market.
