May 26, 2022: The German luxurious carmaker BMW has launched its third electric car the luxurious sedan i4 in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom price). The i4 electric sedan is developed on the company’s fifth-generation eDrive technology and receives power from an 80.7 kWh Lithium-Ion battery. This motor is capable of generating a power of 335 bhp and a peak torque of 430Nm. It is claimed to deliver an average of 590 kmph on a single charge and touch the mark of 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds.
