Which EV Will Make Its Place In PM Modi's Fleet Of Cars?
Due to safety reasons, all the political leaders across the world travel in the best available armoured vehicles. Surprisingly, there is no armoured electric vehicle used by any of the leading leaders for their transportation. Now, India can be the first country to have an armoured electric vehicle being used by a leader. According to recent reports, to encourage the citizens to use electric vehicles for travel, the honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is going to be electric. It is reported, that the government will upgrade the car used by the Prime Minister. This has created a buzz among car users that which armoured electric vehicle would be added to the arsenal of cars used by the Prime Minister?

Recently the government brought the Mercedes-Benz Maybach S650 Guard for the PM to travel and replaced the existing Range Rover Vogue and a Toyota Land Cruiser. The sources close to the PM's office said that with the addition of an armoured electric vehicle, PM Modi will be the first Indian Leader to travel in an electric vehicle. It would be interesting to know that Prime Minister prefers to travel in Land Cruiser to attend the high-level meetings in Delhi and not the Maybach S650 Guard.
Well, speaking about armoured vehicles used by world leaders, these vehicles have an abundance of protective components, including an armoured underbody for protecting passengers from explosions due to landmines. The bodyshell and windows of these vehicles can stop the attacks of bullets and other explosive materials. This makes these vehicles heavier than their standard version sold in the global market. For instant movement, during emergencies, the power of these vehicles is also upgraded, so that they can move quickly from destructive areas. As far as the average of the proposed armoured electric vehicle is concerned it will not be a matter of concern, because usually PM Modi commute within the boundaries of New Delhi.
