Tata Motors to launch new SUV variants, Aria LX going pan India
Tata Motors hasn’t been seeing successful days since the time Mahindra and Mahindra has been taking over the SUV and MUV segment of the Indian car bazaar. Tata is trying its best to keep up with the increasing competition, but it is becoming difficult day by day. Therefore in order to survive here, the firm is planning to make Tata Aria LX variant available in all parts of the country as soon as possible. This one was initially launched in South India during the end of 2012. Tata Aria LX is basically a 4x2 version and land in the sub-Rs. 10 lakh category. The Tata Aria LX will come along with a price tag of Rs. 9.95 lakh.

The LX variant of Aria will give a direct competition to Toyota Innova. The price tag will certainly help Tata Motors to get back on track and increase the revenue level substantially. Right now Tata Aria is available between the price range of Rs. 11.73 lakh to Rs. 14.98 lakh. But by rolling out the cut-down version of Arai all over India, Tata Motors will become a strong contender in the MUV segment yet again. However, the cost cutting has certainly resulted in subtracting few features. If we look at the LX Aria variant, which was launched in South India last year doesn’t feature rain sensing wipers, reverse parking sensors, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity.
Apart from bringing in Tata Aria LX variant across the country, the company is mulling to launch the new variant of freshly launched Tata Safari Storme. The new variant of this USV is likely to come blessed with some enhancement kits, which would pit it against the XUV 500 Crossover by Mahindra. Also an automatic variant of Tata Aria is expected, which would feature some refreshed exteriors and interiors.
