New Maruti Swift Features

The new Maruti Swift 2012 is all set to mark its debut in the Indian market on 17th August. The new generation Swift will be bigger in space, better in performance and higher in fuel efficiency as compared to the previous version. In addition to this, the new Maruti Swift features will include a range of new age comfort & convenience and safety features.

As per the market speculations, the new Swift will be launched in three petrol (Lxi, Vxi and Zxi) and three diesel versions (Ldi, Vdi and Zdi). While the petrol variant will be powered by 1197 CC K-Series VVT engine, the diesel version will come powered by 1248CC DDiS engine.

In the Lxi/Ldi variant, the new Maruti Swift features would comprise the basic equipments and technological advantages including Lane change indicator, power steering, manual AC, fuel consumption display with low fuel warning lamp, tilt steering, headlight on reminder, key-in reminder, seat belt reminder and immobilizer.

The features of middle variant Vxi/Vdi would come blessed with some additional features besides the features provided in the Lxi. These additional features include electric OVRMs with indicators, Chrome inside door handles, keyless entry with burglar alarm, all four power windows, central locking, fog lamps at both front and rear side, OVRMs and door handles in body color, Day-night IVRMs etc.

The top-end variant would be Zxi/Zdi that will be blessed with some additional premium styling, comfort & convenience features including tweeters, Auto AC, volume controls mounted on steering, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force distribution (EBD), driver seat height adjust, dual airbags, and rear wiper, washer and defogger, and 15’’ alloy wheels.

These new Maruti Swift features are as per expectations and the real picture about the features will be cleared once the company announces the launch of this car in the Indian auto market.
