The Mahindra Rexton SUV would be put in direct competition to Tata Safari Storme, which will also be rolled out on the same day. Looks like this Diwali would definitely be fun for Mahindra & Tata fanatics.

The new Tata Safari Storme will also be launching this Diwali-Dussehera period that is on 17th October 2012. Launching Storme with Mahindra Rexton is very brave for the car maker as competition is surely going to be tough. But Tata has made its new Safari totally prepared for the battle. First of all, the company will be keeping the price tag of the car affordable. Second, the SUV will come loaded with a number of high class features, which were absent in the old Safari. The company has already begun the bookings this one and the delivers are expected to take place soon after its launch.

Starting with the Mahindra Ssangyong Rexton, this upcoming car has been assembled at the company’s Chakan Plant in Pune, which means the price will definitely be competitive and pretty much affordable for the customers. Not many details have been revealed so far but according to the fresh reports, the SUV will be available in five and seven-seater options. This product will assist M&M in registering its presence into the premium SUV market. However, Ssangyong being a new brand in India, it might take a little while to settle here and lure the consumers towards it.
