Four Tata Products To Strengthen Tata's Position In The Market
The Indian carmaker Tata Motors is all set to strengthen its position in India’s SUV segment with four refreshed versions of its products. The homegrown automaker is readying to launch four new SUVs in November and December 2025. According to reports, the upcoming models are the Tata Sierra ICE, Tata Sierra EV, Tata Harrier Petrol, Tata Safari Petrol, and the Tata Punch facelift.

Tata Sierra ICE and EV – The Lifestyle SUV Returns
Tata Motors will exhibit its all-new Sierra lifestyle SUV in mid-November 2025, followed by the launch of the Sierra ICE version by the end of the same month. The Sierra EV, on the other hand, is expected to make its debut in December 2025. The new Tata Sierra will measure around 4.3 meters in length, positioning it as a lifestyle SUV designed to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and the upcoming Renault Duster and Nissan Tekton.
Under the hood, the Sierra will offer three engine options — a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbo petrol, and a 2.0L turbo diesel. The turbo-petrol engine produces 170hp and 280 Nm, while the diesel variant delivers 170hp and 350Nm. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
The Sierra EV, built on Tata’s Acti. Ev architecture will share its powertrain with the Harrier EV. It will come with 65kWh and 75kWh LFP battery packs, offering both front-wheel-drive and dual-motor AWD options.
Inside, the Sierra promises a premium cabin experience featuring a triple-screen dashboard, panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera, among other advanced features.
Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol Variants Coming Soon
Following the success of their diesel counterparts, Tata Motors will soon launch petrol-powered versions of the Harrier and Safari. Both SUVs will be equipped with the brand-new 1.5-litre TGDi direct-injection turbo petrol engine, first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine produces 170hp at 5,000rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. These new petrol options will offer smoother performance and refined driving dynamics, making the Harrier and Safari more appealing to a wider audience.
Tata Punch Facelift – Updated Design and Features
The compact yet capable Tata Punch is also set for a facelift, featuring refreshed styling and upgraded interiors. The SUV will sport a redesigned front grille inspired by the Nexon, a reworked bumper, new headlamp setup, and modern LED taillamps. Inside, the facelifted Punch will offer a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and an 8-speaker audio setup. Safety has been enhanced with 6 airbags and blind spot monitoring. Powering the updated Punch will be the familiar 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 87bhp, ensuring reliable and efficient performance for city and highway drives alike.
Final Thoughts: With these upcoming models, Tata Motors is set to solidify its leadership in India’s SUV market. From lifestyle-oriented options like the Sierra to everyday favourites like the Punch, the brand’s diverse lineup caters to every kind of SUV buyer. The final months of 2025 promise to be thrilling for Tata fans and car enthusiasts across the country.
