Electronic Sun Visor: New Technical Feature To Be Equipped In The Future Cars

The name of sun-visor does not require any introduction to introduce itself among the car owners. A simple flap made of vinyl or leather mounted at the driver’s side above his head at the top of the windshield, and used to stop the rays of the sun while driving, thus making the clear vision of the road and protecting the driver from being distracted due to the glare. It is one of the common accessory installed in the car and which is used highly by the drivers while during the evening hours of the day. Interestingly, all the drivers love using this flap while driving and do not hesitate in operating it manually, despite of the plethora of contemporary features embellished in their luxurious car.

But, now with the changing time, there is going to be a big change in the future cars, because when you are operating all the features in your car automatically, why you should be left for using the visor manually. Going through this necessity now a days efforts are being made to introduce electronic sun visor in the cars rather than manual, thus stopping the interference of the sun during driving.

According to the recent reports the research and designing departments of the various car makers are trying to install a new feature or a small device in the windshield that will tint the particular portions of the windshield according to the requirements of the driver. This device will work in the combination of two sensors, one tracking the rays of the sun and the next one tracking the position of the eyes. Once the actual position of sunrays distracting the eyes is detected by both these sensors, a dark patch will appear on that particular spot, thus interrupting the sun rays to impact your vision.  The entire system will be totally automatic and never let the driver recognize the changes happening immediately into his car.
