Discount offers on cars from Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Fiat

Discount offers on cars from Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Fiat

In order to blow out the burning issues like increase in the fuel prices and interest rates the leading auto manufacturers have come-out with the best of discounts to lure the car buyers in the country this festive season. Anyone who has made up his mind to purchase a new car can get benefited from the ongoing carnival as these deals are rated as one of the finest and most genuine deals to have approached since last five years.

To boost the sales the carmakers are offering discounts on each variant of the car. But sighting the increase in petrol rates and a slash in sales of petrol cars, the utmost discount of 25% on the ex showroom price is offered on the same. On the other hand, the diesel cars have a long waiting queue for delivery.

As per Mr. Rajan Paintal- Senior VP, HDFC bank-auto loans, this festive season is the most appropriate time to buy cars as the discounts offered are one-of-its-kind and to alleviate the load on the consumer the companies are offering interest rates that are extremely low.

For the first instance in last three years, due to low walk-ins and queries at showrooms heavy cash discounts are offered by many cars such as hatchbacks Skoda Fabia and Tata Indica. Same goes in the case of auto major Maruti Suzuki which has raised discounts on all its vehicles, despite of its ongoing workforce standoff at its Manesar production unit.

As compared to last year, the discounts have increased by 20-22%. And the carmakers are coming up with higher perks mainly on the petrol run cars as due to hiking fuel rates they have lost its charisma in the market, according to Maruti Suzuki representative.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Hyundai Motors, Honda SIEL cars, Fiat India, Volkswagen India and Maruti Suzuki are presenting free insurance cover, maintenance kits and bulk buying benefits to corporate etc. apart from cash discounts.

The sales had declined by 10% -16% in the first two months of third quarter this year, remembering those unforgettable months the car makers are now letting no stone unturned in getting themselves on track by providing the best to entice the customers. And the best example is Germany based car manufacturer Volkswagen; which has put on limited period opportunity on its hatchback Polo and Vento sedan, Breeze. This limited option comes loaded with leather seat covers, rear parking sensor and latest navigation system at no extra cost.

Some of the cars that are particularly leading in the discount category are Skoda Fabia that offers 50% off on maintenance fee along with cash discount of Rs 50,000, the same amount of cash discount is offered by Tata Manza as well. Hyundai i20 comes with Rs 15000 off on exchange plus Rs 15,000 corporate concession along with freebies worth Rs 14,400. Maruti Estilo is comes wrapped with an overall discount of Rs 60,500 that includes exchange discount, cash discount, and corporate discount. Small car Chevy Spark has 81cm LCD TV (worth Rs 32,000) as freebie, Rs 21000 off on cash purchase and exchange offer of Rs 25,000.

But the above-all deal is offered by Fiat Linea which offers a gift cheque of Rs 75,000 plus an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and free insurance worth Rs 30,000 that sums up to a huge discount Rs 1,30,000 overall.
